QMMS milk recording is compatible with a range of farm software. On farm software allows you to keep an electronic diary, but also to view and analyse your results over time. With high quality data, you can get more meaningful results. 

If you are not currently using any software, we can provide a basic version of SUM-IT software, called “Quality Milk Manager”, free for any milk recording customer. Quality Milk Manager allows you to keep a diary of events (calvings, births, serves, PDs) and also to record health events such as mastitis. Milk recording and Johne’s results can be imported into the software for analysis.

At QMMS we have a wealth of experience in data analysis and are happy to answer questions about your results. Where cell counts are rising, we can offer practical advice and next steps for investigation. We enjoy working together with our clients to improve milk quality.

QMMS and the University of Nottingham have developed an innovative online platform designed specifically for farmers. It builds on the analysis available in TotalVet in order to help farmers make better use of their own data. 

The Remedy platform links seamlessly with milk recording and on-farm data. Farmers can access disease pattern reports helping them to monitor mastitis, Johne’s disease and lameness on their farm. An app is also available, allowing farmers to view real-time cow information, such as the risk of Johne’s disease and the cure probability for a case of clinical mastitis.
